Hanergy Solar`s shareholdings increased by 8 million shares
With a renewed confidence in the technology, Hanergy Solar continues proactive investment in the downstream CIGS solar business
Hanergy Holding, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hanergy Investment, has further acquired from the market, a total of 8 million shares of Hanergy Solar Group Limited.
Hanergy Holding is confident with the future prospects of the PRC and global solar energy industry and believes that there will be considerable growth and development in the solar energy industry in foreseeable future.
In September, Hanergy Solar acquired the intellectual property rights of two new CIGS technologies, namely CIGS thin-film solar power technology of Solibro and MiaSolé. On 24th September, Hanergy Solar Launched 120MW Large-Scale Solar Power Plant Projects in Qinghai and Xinjiang.
On 30th October, Hanergy Solar acquired the entire equity interests of Columbia Solar Energy, LLC , which is in the course of developing a 19MW AC solar photovoltaic electric generating facility in Pittsburg, California, the United Sates.
